our work
ETC aims to bolster existing efforts that focus on improving the wellbeing of youth and families. We believe that research, practice, policy, and organizing are all critical components of change. We do not focus on “DEI” work. Instead, our theory of change, and thus our work, is rooted in abolitionist praxis.
Our work has included research and writing consultation, report writing, academic journal article writing, academic and policy research, consultation on qualitative and community driven research methods, workshops, public speaking engagements, op-ed writing, guest lectures, and mentorship.
On this page are various panel talks, images, and articles involving our work, as well as past work of our members.
